Diversity is the mark of God

By God-Musings.com | July 20, 2008

Look around us. Do we see only one type of animal, one type of insect, one type of tree, one type of leaf, one type of roots, one type of fish, one type of rain, or one type of cloud in the sky?

Do we see only one type of face, one type of personality, one height, one weight, one size,  one language, one race, or one culture?

Not at all. On the contrary, we see plenty. Thousands, if not millions of them.

If you believe that God designed and created everything, regardless of whether you believe he literally made everything in 6 mere Earth days, or over billions of years, you cannot deny one fact.

Diversity is the mark of God.

Diversity is a trait of all creation.

Why then, do you think God would limit himself to one group, one belief, one book, one face, one name, one answer, one institution?

That would be extremely incoherent with the rest of life and creation.
